They are made with a polyester sticker and laser printed to be waterproof (essential for any kitchen item). They can take gentle handwashing but do not put in the dishwasher. Matte or Glossy? Neither. Since they're waterproof they have a slight sheen but are not a high gloss.

Stickers need a flat or cylinder surface. Will not work with a textured or raised surface. Labels only with removable adhesive for canning.
